2 accused of stealing from neighbor

MCCRACKEN COUNTY (KFVS) - Two people were arrested after police found items that were allegedly stolen from their neighbor's home. 

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the Country Aire Mobile Home Park in Paducah Sunday afternoon.  

A woman living at the trailer park said her front door was unlocked when she got home and several items were missing.  The woman went to her neighbor's home, found one of her stolen items, and called the police.  

When officers searched the home, they found more items that were allegedly taken from the home.   

They arrested Amber Melvin, 26, and Claude Solomon, 42. They are charged with second degree burglary.  

Both suspects were taken to the McCracken County Jail.
