Traffic stop leads to drug arrest in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A traffic stop lead to a drug arrest in McCracken County Friday evening.

According to McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies stopped a car Friday evening and spotted some possible drug activity.  After searching the car, officers found the passenger, Tony Vasquez, 29, of Farley was carrying five Percocet tablets.

Vasquez was also wanted for failure to appear in court.  He was arrested and charged with first degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and class D felony Failure to Appear.  The driver of the car was not charged.
