CARLISLE COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Authorities say a school bus driver convicted of reckless homicide earlier this month has been released from jail for good behavior and time served.

Carlisle County Kentucky Sheriff Rick Perry says the time she was on an ankle monitor and 22 days served was counted.

Anita Roach had been sentenced to one year behind bars in July 2012. A jury found Roach not guilty of manslaughter and guilty of reckless homicide, according to the Carlisle County courthouse.

Roach drove the bus that left the road and rolled over, killing a six-year old Logan Simpson back in May of 2011.

Authorities with the sheriff's office say she is still slated for trial on October 31 for doctor shopping.
