OVC Football Media Day honors heartland players

The Ohio valley conference Head Coaches and Sports Information Directors voted a couple of heartland players as the best in the league at Media Day Monday in Nashville.

SEMO Senior Linebacker Blake Peiffer from Jackson was named Defensive Player of the Year and Murray State Quarterback Casey Brockman from Murray was named Offensive Player of the Year.

Teamwise, Eastern Kentucky was picked 1st, Murray State 3rd, UT Martin 6th and Southeast Missouri 7th.
