PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

A three day undercover prostitution investigation led to 14 arrests in McCracken County.

The arrests started Tuesday when a 17-year-old female met an undercover detective at a motel located on John Puryear Highway near Interstate 24.  The juvenile negotiated a deal to have sex for $400.  The act was to include another 17-year-old female.

The second female was located at a parking lot and taken into custody.  Two men where with her at the scene and charged with promoting prostitution.  Deputies say there was marijuana found in the vehicle the men and girls took to the hotel.

The two men are Dakota Brunck, 19, of Harvest, Ala. and Raymond Moore, 21, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Authorities seized cell phones from the two juveniles, which began receiving calls and text messages from men wanting to hire them for sex. The calls led to the arrest of Richard Purcell Jr., 56, of Boaz, Ky. for solicitation to prostitution.

Investigators say he arranged to have sex with a girl at the same motel for $80.

During the investigation, detectives were told of a website which consisted of ads for prostitution posted by women in the Paducah area. Detectives made contact with women from the website and arranged to meet then at a motel near the Kentucky Oaks Mall, leading to several more arrests.

Samantha K. Sward, 28, of Indiana began negotiating a price with an undercover officer, but backed out and started to leave, according to investigators. She was charged with possession of marijuana.

Guled Farah, 22, of Mayfield was also arrested and charged with solicitation to prostitution after investigators say he arranged to have sex with a woman for $150.

Christopher M. McWater, 39, of Lone Oak was identified as being a pimp for two of the girls. He was charged with solicitation too prostitution and promoting prostitution.

Lori C. Mayfield, 24, of Georgia agreed to have sex at the motel for $250, according to investigators. She was charged with prostitution and possession of marijuana.

While arresting Mayfield, officers say Kevin D. Adams, of Georgia was trying to flee the parking lot of the motel. Investigators say he posted the ad for Mayfield on the website and set up the meeting with the men. Adams was charged with promoting prostitution.

Angela Harris, 26, of Charleston was charged with prostitution after investigators say she agreed to a sex act for $150 at the motel.

Eddie M. Moore, 59, of Boaz, Ky. was charged with solicitation to prostitution after arriving at the motel and agreeing to pay $125 for sex.

Jeff D. Hayden, 44, of Lone Oak was charged with solicitation to prostitution after agreeing to pay $100 for sex at a motel on Hinkleville Road.

Marcus Brown, 30, of Metropolis was charged with solicitation to prostitution after agreeing to pay $100 for sex at a motel.

The juveniles have been released to their parents while the other suspects are in the McCracken County Jail.  Many of those arrested have already pleaded guilty in McCracken County Court.
