MARION, KY (KFVS) - A fugitive on the run after she was last seen in a stabbing victim's car has been arrested in Arkansas.

Cindy L. Hutchinson, 50, was arrested Tuesday about 5:35 p.m. in Fort Smith, Ark.

Hutchinson was wanted by Kentucky State Police. She had an active warrant for receiving stolen property after she was last seen in a car that belonged to an elderly stabbing victim.

Around 8:20 p.m. Monday, Marion Police officers found the body of 89-year-old Leonard E. Roberts at his home at 229 East Depot Street. It appeared Roberts had been stabbed.

Hutchinson was seen in the victim's car prior to the arrival of MPD at the victim's home. The victim's vehicle is a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier, blue in color, bearing KY registration plate 253 BZE.

She was taken to the Sebastian County Detention Center with no bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on July 23 in Sebastian County.

An autopsy on Roberts is scheduled for Tuesday morning at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Louisville.
