SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - A rollover crash involving a pickup truck and a car resulted in the temporary closure of part of East Malone in Sikeston.
A full size pickup truck traveling East on Malone struck a small passenger car as it crossed the intersection on Ingram Road, according to Sikeston DPS. This collision overturned the car and it was left resting upside down in a nearby parking lot. The pick-up truck overturned several times after striking the car and ejected the driver. The truck continued, barreling through a nearby light pole and landing upright roadside.The light pole was knocked to the ground.
The driver of the truck was found nearby his vehicle. The truck driver was flown by Air Evac to a nearby hospital and was in critical condition.

The car flipped over and landed in the old Stanfield gas station parking lot.
The crash caused the closure of East Main from Ingram Street to Selma Street for a while as officer investigated.
