JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - The man accused of shooting at his wife and police in Jackson last month made his first court appearance Monday.
Lawrence Guthrie, 45, faces three counts of assault on law enforcement, one count of domestic assault, and one count of armed criminal action.
Investigators say Guthrie shot himself and was also hit by a bullet from police after a standoff.
Officers headed out to a Jackson neighborhood after Guthrie's wife called 911 saying her husband shot at her.
A judge read Guthrie his charges and gave him until the end of the month to get a lawyer.
