MARBLE HILL, MO (KFVS) - Black River Electric Cooperative says about 1,300 customers are without power in the Marble Hill after storms in the area as of 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
That's down from about 3,000 at the start of the evening.
In Fredericktown, 43 customers are without power.
The National Weather Service reports a large storage building damaged and roof damage to a downtown business. There is also a large 2 foot diameter tree on a home, according to the NWS.
The NWS also reports trees down from estimated 30 to 40 mph sustained winds with gusts of 50 to 60 mph in a thunderstorm downburst.
The NWS also reports pea size hail.
