Do It Best Corp. to hold groundbreaking in Sikeston

SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - The Do It Best Corporation will break ground on a new retail service center in Sikeston today.

The company plans to close its warehouse in Cape Girardeau and move all 115 workers South to the new location.  The plant has been open since 1971.

The new $30 million facility will be located in Sikeston's business, education, and technology park.  The company says the new 550,000-square-foot facility will give them room to grow, possibly leading to new jobs in the future.

The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. this morning.
