Benton, Ky. man accused of firing BB gun at traffic

BENTON, KY (KFVS) - A Benton man faces charges for allegedly firing a BB pistol at passing traffic.

A Marshall County Sheriff's deputy responded to a call about someone firing a weapon at passing cars. He arrived on scene at E 13th St and saw a BB gun in a vehicle at the home that appeared indistinguishable from a real gun.

The caller arrived on scene and had damage to the driver side of her car consistent to being hit with BB pellets.

The woman was dropping off passengers from car when the incident happened. Some passengers told police that the BB pistol was fired. However, one passenger said the pistol was never pulled from the car.

Joshua K. Crick, 24, of Benton, was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment first degree and criminal mischief third degree, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office. He is accused of firing the BB pistol.
