Summer fun and learning at Bollinger County Museum

BOLLINGER COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - If you are looking for something fun to do this summer, you may want to try robotics or geocaching at the Bollinger County Museum.

They are hosting Robotics Days and a GPS/Geocaching Day in July.

The Robotic Days begin on Wednesday, July 11 for kids going into 6th grade or higher. You will learn how to build a new type of Lego Renewal Energy Robot each week for four weeks.

The building is self-paced construction. There is a fee for each class attended. The museum says very light snacks will be provided.

Robotics Days schedule:

• July 11 – Energy Powered

• July 18 – Wind Powered

• July 25 – Water Powered

• August 1 – Solar Powered

Also in July is a GPS/Geocaching Day at the museum. This is for anyone going into the 7th through 10th grade next fall.

You can sign up for a one day class, to be held on Friday, July 20. Class hours will be 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, July 18.

There is a small fee for attending this class.
