In more serious news...

Strong storms made their way through the Carrier Mills area around noon leaving behind some serious damage.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Department has charged a West Frankfort woman with aggravated DUI for a deadly wreck in June that killed a man from Bonnie.

A man was arrested yesterday after Malden police say he shot a "flaming projectile" toward officers, leaving one burned and damaged the patrol car.

A father and daughter made it out of their car ok after it caught on fire on I-55 in Scott County Wednesday afternoon.

Stay safe and cool!
