Officer immediately went to the area where the mortar-fired object was shot from and officers identified Demetrius K. Wofford as he ran away.

On July 3, Wofford was arrested while making a court appearance on an un-related charge. He is currently being held in the Dunklin County Jail on a warrant for assault of a law enforcement officer and armed criminal action with a bond set at $100,000 cash.
