FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

A West Frankfort woman has been charged after a wreck on June 10 killed a man from Bonnie.

Tabitha S. Weeks, 31, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, a felony charge. She was booked on Tuesday, July 3 and released on bail in the amount of $7,500 cash. No word yet on when her court date will be.

Franklin County deputies told the coroner Weeks was driving east when her vehicle crossed the center line and hit a van driven by 41-year-old Craig Payne head on. Payne's wife, 38-year-old Marla, their 16-year-old son William, 12-year-old daughter Deloris, 10-year-old son Pierce, and 6-year-old daughter Jodi Anne were all in the van when the vehicles collided.

Craig Payne died at the Franklin County hospital about an hour after the crash. His wife and 3 of his children were taken to Franklin County hospital. Pierce Payne was taken to Children's Hospital in St. Louis.

Weeks was airlifted to a St. Louis hospital.
