Crash on North Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau slows traffic

A crash on North Kingshighway, just north of Independence Street slowed down traffic Tuesday afternoon when an Ameren truck collided with a Chevrolet Corsica. A crash on North Kingshighway, just north of Independence Street slowed down traffic Tuesday afternoon when an Ameren truck collided with a Chevrolet Corsica.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A crash on North Kingshighway, just north of Independence Street slowed down traffic Tuesday afternoon when an Ameren truck and Chevrolet Corsica collided.

The truck and Corsica were heading south when they collided.

The Ameren truck had minimal damage, but the Corsica was severely damaged.

Emergency crews freed the driver from the car. The driver was taken to Saint Francis Medical Center with minor injuries.
