Power now restored to hundreds in Dunklin County - KFVS12 News & Weather Cape Girardeau, Carbondale, Poplar Bluff

Power now restored to hundreds in Dunklin County

Several hundred customers were without power early Saturday evening in Dunklin County, Missouri.

According to Ozark Border General Manager Stan Estes, there was damage at a substation in Campbell.

It's possibly from the heavy load. Estes says there were some blown fuses.

Right now, all customers are back on line, but at one time more than 900 were without power in this heat.

Estes says crews worked hard to restore electricity to the customers.

This affected people in and around the Campbell and Clarkton area.
