Butler County authorities looking for armed robbery suspect

BUTLER COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Authorities are searching for a man that robbed a Butler County business on Sunday morning.

According to Sheriff Mark Dobbs it happened around 11:45 a.m. at Lake Road Grocery on Highway T.

Sheriff Dobbs says no one was hurt, but there was some cash taken by a man with a handgun.

The suspect is described as a white male with short sandy brown hair wearing a black bandanna. He is around 5'9" - weighing about 160 pounds.

The man is believed to be from the area and was driving a dark colored, possibly black or green, Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Am.

The car was described as dirty as if it travels the back roads a lot. He was last seen headed east on the outer road in front of the store.

Sheriff Dobbs believes the individual is from the east side of the county and is familiar with the roads in the area.
