3 injured in Reynolds County overnight crash

ELLINGTON, MO (KFVS) - Three people were injured in a rollover crash overnight in Reynolds County. Two of the injured had to be flown to a St. Louis area hospital.

It happened around 12:20 a.m. on MO Route K, 12 miles east of Ellington, Missouri.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a pickup truck driven by Monty E. Marin, 39, of Lincoln, Arkansas ran off the road, hit several trees, overturned and came to a rest on its side down a steep embankment.

Marin and a passenger, Rodney D. Fears, 35, of Ellington both had serious injuries and were flown to a St. Louis area hospital.

Another passenger, Destiny Fears, 15, of Ellington received moderate injuries and was taken by EMS to an Ellington medical center.

Troopers say Marin and Rodney Fears were not wearing a seat belt at time of the crash.
