Boil water order lifted for parts of Pinckneyville, Illinois

PINCKNEYVILLE, IL (KFVS) -

The boil water order that was issued Friday for parts of Pinckneyville, Illinois due to a water main break has been lifted, according to the utilities superintendent.

Included were the following areas:

  • The entire Pinckneyville Fairground area
  • Both sides of Route 13/127 South from the railroad viaduct
  • All customers on the south side of Parker Street
  • All customers in the 700 to 800 block of South Walnut Street
  • customers on West Ozburn and Grand Avenue from South Walnut to Douglas including West Brown Street
  • From Grand Ave. to South Beaucoup south
  • Customers in the area bordered by Grant Street north of the railroad tracks and the west side of South Mill Street
  • Panther Drive customers south of East Randolph and customers on South East Street from Mulberry to South Street
  • South Lake Road customers

    Today is a First Alert Action Day. Parts of the Heartland were upgraded to a moderate risk of severe weather. Lisa Michaels says the risk of storms is lower this morning, but severe storms will be likely this afternoon and evening.
