Heartland Golfers successful in summer Golf Tournaments

Heartland Golfers take to the links and look impressive in summer tournaments

At the Missouri State Armature Golf Tournament at Dalhouse, Cape natives Brevin Giebler and Brent Holmes won their opening match round events Thursday.

Carr Vernon and Trent Hills from Poplar Bluff also picked up wins in the match play rounds. 

Day two of the match play continues Friday and the tournament will run though Sunday.

The PGA Junior Series at Kokpelli finished up round two on Thursday. 

Murphysboro's Kody Rendleman leads the 13-15 year old division. 

Brendan Lewis from Marion and Ben Fowler from Harrisburg are right being the leader heading into Fridays final round.

In the Girls Division,  Paducah's Tery Doss leads going into the final round Friday as well.
