Boil water order issued for Equality

VILLAGE OF EQUALITY, IL (KFVS) -

Part of the Village of Equality is under a boil water order.

This boil order for the entire town was terminated on July 11, but a new boil order has been issued for certain parts of town.

All T-Lake, all Ashley, and all E. Taswell are under a boil water order until further notice due to the contractor.

The corner of Bunker and Davis to the end of W Davis, and all of Reed are under a boil water order until further notice due to the contractor.

The corner of Bunker and W Davenport West is under a boil order until further notice.

The village had canceled boil orders for some parts of town and issued others for other parts of town.

A boil water order has been canceled for the area of Lane Street to East McDuffy to W. Division due to a line hit by a contractor. It was issued on June 14, but has been canceled.

A boil water order was canceled for water customers on Bunker Street west to Fowler Street and for customers from the corner of N. McHenry and W. Benton to the end of W. Benton. This is due to a line hit by the contractor. The boil water order was issued on June 19, but has been canceled.

The boil water order was canceled for the area east of N. Calhoun from E. Taswell to East Clinton and off of the T-Lake area.  This was also due to a line hit by the contractor. It was issued June 20, but has been canceled.

A new boil order was issued on June 25 for 120 W Lane, 142 W Lane, and 166 W Lane due to the line hit by the contractor. This boil order is in effect until further notice.

As of June 27, a boil water order has been issued for the areas of West Clinton, West Jackson, East Davenport and all rural customers east of North Fork Bridge and Pool Road are under the boil water order.

As of July 5th, a boil water order is in effect for North McHenry, North McDuffy, East Davis, All Ty Williams Drive, West Benton, Corner of McDuffy and Jackson to the end of West Jackson and all of West Benton. The boil water order was canceled as of  July 9.
