CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - A drug bust in South Cape Girardeau sends on man flying out a window, and puts two in jail.

Cape Girardeau Police arrested 30-year-old Randy Gene Lewis for violation of his parole.

Sgt. Adam Glueck with the Cape Girardeau Police Department said police went to look for Lewis at a home on the 800 block of South Benton.

He said the person who answered the door told them he wasn't there. So, police sent in their canine. Glueck said Lewis then jumped out of a second floor window to escape the police dog.

We're told officers seized syringes from Lewis.

Glueck said they arrested another person for hindering prosecution.
