DEXTER, MO (KFVS) -

The 2004 Pontiac Vibe that was reported stolen from Dexter Billiards Sunday has been found.

According to Dexter police, the red Vibe was found Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. in an old parking lot in Dexter behind some buildings in downtown.

The owner of the vehicle and police say all of the contents of the car were still there and the car was not damaged in any way.

Police say fingerprints were taken from the car, but there is no one in custody or persons of interest at this time.

Two cars were stolen in Dexter just days apart in what police say were two separate incidents.

The first car, a 2004 Pontiac Vibe was stolen Sunday, June 10 outside Dexter Billiards, just before 10 p.m. The owner says the car was not locked and the keys were in the ignition. She says through Facebook, her friends have been able to get the word out about her missing car by posting pictures of it. She did have valuables in the car such as her purse and graduation cap and gown.

The second car, a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer was reportedly stolen at the owners home on One Mile Road on Monday, June 11 around 3:50 a.m. The vehicle was found at 7:25 a.m. at the Family Dollar Store. The owner says the doors to the Mountaineer were unlocked and a spare set of keys that were in the console are now missing.

According to Police Chief Sammy Stone, the two incidents are not related. He says they are looking for persons of interest and any information.
