Benton couple accused in Dairy Queen burglary

BENTON, IL (KFVS) -

Two people are accused of taking ice cream from the Benton Dairy Queen.

According to police Jessica J. Sims, 29, and Kevin L. Brown, 35, of Benton now face burglary charges.

They allegedly took two packs of Dilly Bars and a quart of ice cream from the business.

Police say the suspects had been in the restaurant and recently filled out applications. The two were caught on video camera.

Both were taken to the Franklin County Jail on Wednesday.
