Police have arrested one of two men accused of shooting at a man Tuesday in Water Valley.
Sheriff's deputies found Jeremy Meadows, 22, of Water Valley after a sting operation Wednesday.
Deputies and state troopers started texting Meadows' cell phone posing as a friend. He agreed to meet at the Depot Street location in Water Valley. When he showed up, deputies arrested him.
Police had been looking for Meadows and David Cuevas, 29, for allegedly assaulting another man at a home in Water Valley. Police say they fired shots at the man and drove away in a pick up truck. The victim was not hurt.
Meadows remains in the Graves County jail Thursday morning.
Police have not found David Cuevas. He is considered armed and dangerous.
