Paducah woman accused of passing counterfeit $100 bill

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - On Saturday, June 2, a Paducah woman was arrested after police say she passed a counterfeit $100 bill at a yard sale in Marshall County.

April D. Novetske, 33 of Paducah, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Forged Instrument 1st degree.

The victim said Novetske left the yard sale abruptly after receiving change for the bill.

Sergeant Eddie McGuire responded to the call and located Novetske at another yard sale on US 68 West.

Novetske returned the change and the items purchased with the counterfeit bill.

Novetske is being detained in the Marshall County Detention Center.
