CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Cape Girardeau police are looking for someone accused of firing a gun during an argument.

Police say the man fired a shot early Wednesday morning outside a house on North Benton Street.

Seems an argument broke out earlier that day when some people accused the suspect of taking property that belonged to them, out of the house.

Police are investigating a reported burglary at the home.

Police say the suspect left, and then went back with the gun awhile later.

He demanded money, and the people refused so he fired a shot and ran away.

Police have applied for a warrant, but no charges have been filed.
