CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The old Federal Courthouse in Cape Girardeau, Missouri is back on the market.
It's listed at $1 million and the real estate agent who's listed it says the building has a lot of potential.
"It could be a multi-office complex, it could be a combination of community uses," said Thomas Meyer, Real Estate Agent.
"Perhaps the City or County might be able to lease that portion for their use. Make a transition out of the old courthouse, with is really a museum in itself. We're just now starting to work into a bit of brainstorming and some ideas out there. And, I welcome any ideas they can bring forward."
A man from Texas bought the building earlier this year for $325,000 at a general services administration auction.
He's said he'd hoped to offer the building to the city or county at a discounted rate.
