2 southeast Mo. men face meth related charges in Illinois

UNION COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

Two men from southeast Missouri are facing meth related charges in Illinois.

According to the Union County State's Attorney Tyler Edmonds, Brian A. Taylor, 37, of Marble Hill was charged with one count of methamphetamine conspiracy, two counts of unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursors, one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, one count of solicitation of unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursors and one count of retail theft.

Dustin J.D. Overbey, 20, of Cape Girardeau was charged with one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursors, one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials and one count of retail theft.

According to Edmonds, Taylor allegedly got Psudoephedrine pills from stores in Anna on May 13 and May 22 to make meth.  Overbey is alleged to have helped Taylor on May 22.

Both men were taken to the Jackson County Illinois Jail.  Taylor was held on $75,000 bond and Overbey on $30,000 bond.
