2 women seriously hurt in Bollinger County crash

BOLLINGER COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Two women were seriously injured Tuesday night in a crash in Bollinger County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says the vehicle driven by Amber Hester, 24, of Scott City, went off the right side of Highway 34, about two miles west of Grassy. Hester then overcorrected, ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

A passenger in the vehicle, Barbara Whitcomb, 22, of Cabool, was ejected from the vehicle.

Both Whitcomb and Hester were rushed to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.
