Berkman out at least 6-8 weeks

Cardinals First Baseman Lance Berkman is expected to be sidelined at least 6-8 weeks following an MRI on his right knee Monday.

The team says Berkman will have an Arthroscopic procedure later this week.

General John Mozeliak says the MRI did not appear to show that Berkman's Ligament was injured.

Berkman was hurt Saturday making a routine stretch to receive a throw against the Dodgers.
