Two men are being held on 2nd degree burglary charges after the Butler County Sheriff's Office says they burglarized two convenience stores in Neelyville and Fisk.

John Stenger and Charles Gossett are being held at the Butler County Justice Center after the Cenex Flash Market in Neelyville and K&J's Git-N-Go in Fisk were burglarized.

Butler County Sheriff Mark Dobbs says the thieves got away with cash and product from the stores.

Deana Crawford's parents own K&J's in Fisk. Crawford says some young looking males broke into K & J convenience store around 4 a.m. Sunday. She says they apparently used a cutter to cut open a metal door to get inside and stole $695. She says they took off in a red GMC or Chevy extended cab pickup truck.

Investigators are looking for two white males in connection with the investigation.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to call police.

A convenience store in Poplar Bluff was broken into early Monday morning.  Sheriff Dobbs does not believe the Poplar Bluff burglary is connected to the Fisk and Neelyville burglaries.

More charges are likely, according to the sheriff's office.
