On May 18, 1982, a memo was released to KFVS-TV staff announcing Jim Burns as the new anchor of the Breakfast Show.  Thirty years later, we honor Jim for his anchoring on the Breakfast Show.

Jim began his career at KFVS12 on November 1, 1979 as a weekend anchor, general assignment reporter, and news magazine producer.  He started his first day as anchor on the Breakfast Show on June 14, 1982.

Jim wants to thank all of his co-workers for years of memories and hard work and thanks the loyal viewers of KFVS12.
