HOLCOMB, MO (KFVS) -

A Holcomb school board member faces drugs charges for possession of marijuana.

Everett K. Massey, 45, of Holcomb is charged with felony possession of controlled substance and felony to distribute controlled substance.

The Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force, Dunklin County Sheriff's Department, and Missouri State Highway patrol searched Massey's home on May 15.

According to the probable cause statement, Massey retrieved a baggie with 53 grams of marijuana from the master bedroom closed and told police that was all he had.

Officers found 270 grams of marijuana in the same master bedroom closet and a partial marijuana cigarette was located in the storage room of the carport.

Holcomb Superintendent Jeff Bullock confirms Massey is an elected school board official.
