Say goodbye to sinking and getting stuck in the grass? Oh, and say hello to TV's Leeza Gibbons. "OK, my friend Leeza wears heels better than anybody I know" says KLTV's Joe Terrell. "I only wear them
But in a world where we encase our cell phones, our sunglasses - we even sell cases to cover our suitcases - do we really need cap covers for our high heels?
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Pepper the dog can play soccer quite well. This can also work up her appetite, and she's a whiz at downing her food, says her master, Brian Alworth.

"She inhales her food. If we could find something that works, it'd be good for her."

The product name says it all: "Whoa, Buddy!" and the makers say specially designed nodules can make meal time last minutes longer.

"I think this will slow her down by about five seconds!" said Alworth.

We have a stopwatch to see. First, Brian cooked up Pepper's favorite treat: bacon. We'll time her normal fast-eating.  We clocked the meal at 37 seconds. Next, round 2....more bacon, more food, but this time in the Whoa, Buddy bowl.

We find it's slowing her down some.

"There's some momentary confusion, but not for long."

She's a smartie. Pepper figures out how to lick this bowl clean, going right around those nodules.

She learns how to maneuver this. Final eat time: 1:36.  So, almost a minute longer.

"It slowed her down a little bit."

"I think she got annoyed for two seconds, ate more slowly, and looked up as if to say, 'why? what's this about?"

So, if you're truly worried about this list of symptoms this bowl might help prevent. You could try this $8 contraption.

"I'd give it a 'C'. It did slow her down, but not a big difference."

Fair enough. Pepper the dog earns an 'A' for her doggone good TV skills. The "Whoa, Buddy!" bowl wolfs down an average grade 'C' on this Does it Work test.
