NEW MADRID COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Authorities discovered a marijuana plant growing operation Saturday in New Madrid County.
According to the sheriff's office, the plants were found during an investigation. There were 15 plants, each around 18 inches tall found on a levee near the Mississippi River.
Deputies say the plants were grown indoors in styrofoam cups and then planted out on the levee.
Deputies picked all the plants on Saturday and have a couple people they are looking at that are possible suspects.
