Vehicle full of soybeans rolls over, injures driver

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A western Kentucky man was injured after his vehicle full of soybeans rolls over in McCracken County.

Shawn P. Ice, 34, of Wickliffe, was headed eastbound on Ogden Landing Road approaching the 10200 block driving a grain truck full of soybeans.  For unknown reasons, deputies say Ice lost control rolling over once before coming to rest in a nearby ditch.

The roadway was closed for approximately 45 minutes for crews to clean up the spilled soybeans.

Deputies say Ice was then taken to the hospital for apparent minor injuries.

West McCracken Fire Department, Mercy Ambulance Services and DES assisted deputies at the scene.
