Farmington, Mo. man found guilty of murder

FARMINGTON, MO (KFVS) - A Farmington man has been found guilty of a May 2011 murder.

Jason Parrent of Farmington was found guilty of second degree involuntary manslaughter.

He was originally charged with second degree assault and murder second degree.

Investigators say two men were charged in connection with the May 2011 death of a Farmington man.

According to court documents, Trevor Grice and Parrent were drinking at a home with 44 year old Donis Clayton in May 2011.

Investigators say a fight broke out and Clayton was hit several times in the head.

The coroner says Clayton died of blunt trauma to the head.
