Authorities in St. Louis are looking for a 5-year-old heart patient whose father took him without permission following the boy's discharge from a hospital.

You may have heard of people using household products like white out, mouthwash, or glue to get high.  But now people, even teens, are using hand sanitizer to get drunk. Christy Millweard brings us this disturbing new trend on Heartland News at 9 on Fox 23.

A $1 million bond has been set for a man arrested after the beating death of a 2-year-old boy from Elkville, Ill.  Arnold Wyrick was in the courtroom today when the suspect made his first appearance.  Arnold also spoke with the boy's family who speaks out after his death.  Hear their comments tonight on Heartland News at 10.

An Illinois state registry for first-degree murder convicts has topped 500 people.  It's a database of convicts who have completed their sentences and been released. The database is similar to the sex offender registry. It includes names, addresses, employment places, schools attended and photos for offenders for up to 10 years after their release from prison.

An international furor has erupted after a mother says federal Transportation Security Administration agents in Wichita manhandled her 4-year-old daughter after she gave her grandmother a hug.

A Dexter, Mo. hospice group is using a special program to make sure family members remember loved ones who pass on.  The groups makes memory bears from the loved one's clothes.

    The City of Cape Girardeau Storm Water crew has closed the 100 block of North Water Street between Broadway and Themis for an emergency storm line repair. Traffic will not be allowed on this portion of North Water Street while work is being done.
