Source: Kenyon Wright leaving Scott County Central

SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) -

It appears one of the Heartland's most successful high school basketball programs is losing it's head coach.

A source close to the situation tells Heartland Sports that Scott County Central head basketball coach, baseball coach and Athletic Director Kenyon Wright will leave to become the Athletic Director at Bell City.

Over the past three years, Wright led the Braves to Class 1 State titles each year.

He also served as an assistant under Ronnie Cookson during a state title year.

Wright is a Bell City High School graduate.
