New Madrid County authorities find crack, marijuana in search

NEW MADRID COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Authorities in New Madrid say one person is in custody after they found drugs at his home.

Hosea L. Williams, 36, was taken into custody by US probation and parole officers.  According to the sheriff's office, Williams is on federal parole for robbing the Bank of New Madrid in Lilbourn in 2001.

According to the New Madrid County Sheriff's Office, officers served a federal search warrant Friday at 918 Mott Street on Friday in New Madrid.

During the search authorities found 12 grams of crack cocaine and around 37 grams of marijuana packaged for sale.

Authorities say charges are pending for the drugs found.

    The person of interest in the double-murder and bank robbery in Conway on Monday is in custody. Brandon MIchael Council was arrested in Greenville, North Carolina Wednesday, along with two other people, authorities there confirmed.  Brandon Michael Council was wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of two CresCom bank employees during a bank robbery at the CresCom Bank in Conway on Monday afternoon.
