Cold case arrests, poverty numbers, new SEMO AD

Just in to the newsroom, Holly Brantley reports that authorities arrested three people today in connection with the 1999 cold case murder of Carla Austin. Holly will be live in Butler County with reaction from Austin's daughter and the sheriff tonight at five and six.

Murphysboro Police are looking for a car that left the scene of a crash Wednesday evening.  Police say a child was inside the vehicle.

Three people face drugs charges in Perryville after an undercover drug operation.

New county poverty numbers are out, and Crystal Britt says several Heartland Counties are on the list of even being at or below the poverty line.

Todd Richards reports that Missouri State University has scheduled a 4:30 p.m. news conference Thursday at which time Southeast President Dr. Ken Dobbins is expected to name a new athletic director.
