3 arrested in Perryville after undercover drug sting

PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

Three people face drugs charges in Perryville after an undercover drug operation.

Perry County Sheriff's deputies searched 704 N. Main Street in Perryville on April 10.

Ethan W. Barnett, 22, of Perryville is charged with Class B felony distribution of a controlled substance from an incident in February, a Class C felony possess chemical with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, and three Class A misdemeanors of unlawful possession of illegal weapon, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and purchase/receive more than 3 6/10 grams pseudoephedrine within 24 hours.

Linda M. Barnett, 47, of Perryville, is charged with Class B felony distribution of a controlled substance stemming from a February 2012 incident.

Shawna L. Howell, 26, of Cape Girardeau is charged with Class C felony distribution of marijuana and Class D felony delivery/manufacturer of an imitation controlled substance stemming from a February 2012 incident.

Ethan Barnett posted $20,000 cash or approved surety bond and was released.

Linda Barnett posted $10,000 cash or surety bond and was released.

Shawna L. Howell is currently being held on $25,000 cash only bond.

    An unwelcome visitor was cause for some tense moments and quick action in the King household Saturday morning. Krystal King says it was about 7 a.m. when Stephen, her oldest son, came into his parents' room to notify them about the "big snake in the bathroom."
