CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Missouri Department of Transportation says it wants to make sure its work zones are clear to understand and easy to navigate.
So it's asking drivers this year to rate the work zones.
Questions include whether or not you could read and understand the signs when you entered the work zone and if you experienced an delays.
There's also room for additional comments to write in addition to the multiple choice questions.
MoDOT wants to use the survey to evaluate the work zones and look for ways to improve them and meet driver expectations.
However, drivers should encounter fewer large construction work zones this year due to a drop in the MoDOT construction budget.
The focus now shifts to maintaining the current system of roads.
