CREAL SPRINGS, IL (KFVS) -

A fugitive on the run in Williamson County was caught Wednesday morning.

Richard Dwayne Colbroth Jr., 19, of Creal Springs was arrested in rural Williamson County at 11:30 a.m.

He was wanted on warrants for escape (failure to follow recognizance bond guidelines) and threatening a witness.

He was in custody for failure to register as a sex offender and residential burglary. Colbroth Jr. is also charged with unlawful communication with a witness.

Colbroth Jr. was released from the Williamson County Jail through a temporary recognizance bond.  However, court documents show he left the Gateway treatment center and did not notify his attorney or the court and did not return to the Williamson County Jail.

Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick would like to thank the citizens for their vigilance in this case.
