MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A former middle school principal faces five charges in connection to an alleged sexual assault.
Kent Barlow, 46, has been charged with assault, wonton endangerment, terroristic threatening, kidnapping of an adult and rape.
The former Marshall County middle school principal pleaded not guilty to the charges against him in court on March 12. His preliminary hearing was waived and the case bound over to Grand Jury on March 21.
A Grand Jury indicted Barlow on April 12 of the five charges.
Investigators interviewed the alleged victim, which lead to them searching Barlow's home in March 2012.
He was taken into custody at his lawyer's office.
Barlow is scheduled to be back in court for arraignment on May 7.
This isn't the first time he's faced charges. In 2006, Barlow was found not guilty on charges of sexual abuse for allegedly touching a boy inappropriately.
