Police release photos from Scott City burglary

SCOTT CITY, MO (KFVS) - The Scott City Police Department released surveillance photo of a burglary suspect that broke into the Medicap Pharmacy early Tuesday morning.

A burglary took place around 1:30 Tuesday morning at the Medicap Pharmacy on Main Street.

The pharmacist says that a male suspect used a gun to shoot out the glass in the front door.

He then hopped behind the counter and took some antibiotics and some controlled substances.

In all, the burglar was only in the store for about 40 seconds. Police are still searching for the suspect.

At this time, they have not made any arrests in the case.

Police are asking for help identifying the person and vehicle in the surveillance photos.

Cape Girardeau Police are also investigating a burglary at John's Pharmacy that happened Tuesday morning.

    A Golden Alert was issued in Graves County, Kentucky for Rebecca L Curd. Officials said she has been reported missing since 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 27.
