Louisville man accused of shooting cat with arrow

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A Louisville man has been charged with shooting a cat with an arrow and arrested on charges of torture and cruelty.

An arrest slip says the cat was shot with a bow. The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/Hhmxhi ) says the cat was seriously injured but survived.

Police arrested 21-year-old Jeric Flores on Tuesday on charges of torture of a cat, second-degree animal cruelty and tampering with physical evidence.

An arrest slip says Metro Animal Services authorities found a bow and arrow in Flores' home hidden in a ceiling light fixture.
