2 accused in Mayfield shooting now face murder charges

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Two men accused of a firing shots at a Mayfield home appeared in court on Wednesday.

Jacob Carder and Kenon Andrews were originally charged with attempted murder.  Wednesday, both attempted murder charges were amended to murder charges.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says the two suspects fired shots at a house in late March, and three of the four people inside were hit by bullets. 

Two people died and another other person was hospitalized.

Both cases were bound over to the Grand Jury which will meet again on April 12.
